Job DetailsSalary range: $122,812 - $184,217Shift structure: Monday to Friday, 7.25 hours per dayPrimary location: Edmonton, CASA West, hybrid eligibleUnion: ExemptFTE: 1.0Status: Temporary (12-month parental leave coverage until on or before March 2027)About the RoleReporting to the Chief Executive Officer and working as a member of CASA’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT), the Acting Director, Business Operations, is responsible for the development and leadership of the People and Culture, Privacy and Health Information, Facilities and Information Technology departments.This role leads SLT in developing and facilitating robust facility, technology, people, privacy and business strategies to advance CASA’s mission, vision, values, operational plan and overall culture.​The Acting Director, Business Operations (IT, People and Culture, Facilities, Privacy and Health Information) will:Ensure strategic alignment by modelling organizational values and working with the CEO and SLT to ensure policies, procedures and practices are developed and aligned with the organization’s mission, vision and values.Assign and align portfolio responsibilities with deliverables outlined in the organizational strategic roadmap and annual operational plan.Lead and manage business operations departments by directing and assigning work, developing and coaching staff, holding individuals and teams accountable to operational plan deliverables and providing timely feedback.Collaborate with the Acting Director, Business Operations (OHPS, Quality and Risk, Business Intelligence and Evaluation), to ensure alignment across all business operations departments.Facilitate a culture that embraces change and adapts to dynamic environments, by applying research and encouraging experimentation and risk-taking.Build CASA’s organizational reputation through effective communication, building rapport with diverse communities of staff, patients, families, donors and partners.Ensure CASA’s financial stability by managing resources in collaboration with the CEO and SLT.Qualifications:Master’s degree in a related field (human resources, sociology, education, business administration, law, medicine, etc.) or equivalent.Equivalency requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field plus years of experience.Minimum two years progressive management experience with substantial supervisory experience.Demonstrated interpersonal skills that promote mutually beneficial, respectful and professional relationships.Proven ability to influence and make change.Strong ability to provide advice, solve problems and implement improvements.Strong analytical skills.Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons or facts.Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills.Conditions of Employment:Satisfactory Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Intervention Check.This position requires regular travel to all CASA sites.Closing Date: December 8, 2025Please quote the following competition number in your application materials 25-222
