If you have experience troubleshooting along with a passion for ensuring everything runs smoothly, you might be the perfect fit for our teamTo excel in this role, you should be:Minimum of two three years previous experience considered an assetCompleted Grade 12 educationClean Driver's abstract requiredAble to use basic power tools and complete basic building maintenanceBasic command of the English language (written and verbal)Exceptional skills in communications, organizational, interpersonal and time managementPlumbing knowledge would be considered an assetProven experience in exercising good judgement under pressurePhysically fit, able to stand, crouch, and kneel for long periods of time an lift in excess of 25 kilogramsCarpentry/Construction skills considered an assetStrong customer care and communication skillWhat will your role involve? As a Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:Perform general maintenance tasks that may include: millwork (countertops), repair/install doors, interior painting, drywall repairs and other similar duties.Knowledge of using various power tools, painting, drywall repairs an assetAssist with building operations functions as requiredFit and install trim, doors, moulding and hardwareRepair and refinish furniturePerform finished carpentry for cabinets and other itemsOperate a variety of standard power tools and equipmentRespond immediately to emergencies Respond immediately to service requests and emergencies that address client and building related issues At Edon, we foster a supportive work culture that encourages growth and offers opportunities to make a meaningful impact.
