Inside Sales Engineer

We are looking for a dynamic and technically-inclined professional to take on a unique hybrid position that blends inside sales, application support, and project coordination. You will serve as the central point of contact for the sales and projects divisions. Your duties will involve providing vital support to the external sales team, generating quotes for parts and smaller systems, and overseeing projects from the initial order all the way to final delivery. This fast-paced role is perfect for a strong communicator with a solid technical background (such as a CET or Junior Engineer) who excels at managing multiple priorities in an industrial setting.AdvantagesWork for a stable and growing company in the industrial process sector.This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive compensation.Take ownership of a diverse role where you manage projects from start to finish.Excellent opportunity for a technically-minded person to grow in a key company role.ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary internal contact for all sales inquiries, preparing and following up on accurate quotes for parts, components, and smaller systems.Provide technical design support to the outside sales team by reviewing project specifications, reading technical drawings (P&IDs, layouts), and helping select appropriate equipment.Manage the full project lifecycle post-sale, including coordinating with vendors, managing all project documentation (submittals, drawings), and acting as the main liaison between clients, engineering, and shop/field teams.Qualifications3-5+ years of experience in a related role (e.g., Inside Sales, Project Coordinator, Applications Engineer, or Junior Project Manager).Must have demonstrated experience reading and interpreting technical drawings/specifications (P&IDs) and preparing customer quotes.Post-secondary education in an engineering discipline (e.g., Engineering Technology Diploma - CET, or Mechanical/Chemical Engineering degree).Experience within an industrial, manufacturing, or process-related industry is required (water treatment or chemical industry experience is a major asset).Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.SummaryIf you would like to be considered for this opportunity, please send your resume to: ilario.cuteri@randstad.caRandstad Canada is committed to fostering a workforce reflective of all peoples of Canada.
