If you bring strong craftsmanship, reliability, and valid all-position CWB tickets, we encourage you to applyAdvantagesCompensation: Earn $37.00–$38.00 per hour, depending on your experience level.Night Shift Premium available for workers scheduled on evening or overnight rotations.Overtime opportunities offered during busy production periods.Reliable Employment: Steady, long-term hours with an established fabrication employer.Modern, Safety-Driven Shop with strong focus on quality and efficient workflow.Full Benefits Package included for eligible employees.Become part of a collaborative, high-performing team.ResponsibilitiesBuild and weld structural steel assemblies such as columns, beams, trusses, and similar components in alignment with detailed drawings, blueprints, and project requirements.Execute high-quality welds using FCAW and MCAW processes to meet production and safety expectations.Perform welding in every position—flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead—while meeting all CWB compliance standards.Interpret and follow complex technical documents, including welding procedure specifications (WPS), shop drawings, and weld symbols.Use fabrication equipment safely, including grinders, cutting torches, overhead cranes, and other shop tools, while ensuring proper maintenance.Work closely with fitters, QC personnel, and fellow trades, supporting smooth workflow and timely project completion.Maintain a cooperative, safety-focused mindset, contributing to an orderly and productive shop environment.Inspect completed welds visually and carry out required touch-ups or corrections to ensure all work meets quality and code requirements.QualificationsMust hold a Journeyperson Welder certification (Red Seal or an equivalent level of experience and training).CWB tickets are required, with valid certification for FCAW/MCAW in all welding positions.At least 5 years of confirmed experience in structural welding, fabrication, or heavy industrial environments.Strong competency in interpreting blueprints, layout drawings, and advanced welding symbols with accuracy.Demonstrated track record of professionalism and positive teamwork, with the ability to collaborate without ego or attitude.Reliable personal transportation is essential, as the job sites (Nisku and Sturgeon County) are not typically reachable by public transit.SummaryIf you are a qualified and experienced Welder ready for a challenging new role in Nisku or Sturgeon County, please apply using one of the following options:Online: Apply directly to this job advert or register online at www.randstad.caEmail: Send your resume directly to the recruiting consultant: renee.paul@randstad.ca📩 IMPORTANT: In your email subject line and/or resume, please clearly specify:Which location you are interested in (Nisku, Edmonton OR Sturgeon County).Which shift you prefer (Day Shift OR Night Shift).Only qualified candidates who meet all certification requirements and experience will be contacted.Randstad Canada is committed to fostering a workforce reflective of all peoples of Canada.
