Area Security Supervisor Zone 6 - Healthcare (Bathurst, NB)Paladin Security is looking for a motivated, versatile individual who can share their leadership to manage a team of security operatives in the Acadie/Bathurst region (Zone 6 of the Vitalité Health Network).Zone 6 contains 4 main sites but is not limited to:Bathurst Chaleur Regional HospitalTracadie HospitalCaraquet Enfant-Jésus RHSJ† HospitalLamèque Hospital and Community Health CentrePosition Details:Position: Area Security Supervisor Zone 6Site: Bathurst Chaleur Regional HospitalHours: 40 per weekOvertime: Excess of 44 hoursShifts: Monday to Friday 08am to 04pmPayrate: $25,42/hourPosting Date: October 31st, 2025Internal Closing Date: November 28th, 2025External Closing Date: November 28th 2025Key responsibilities:Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and ongoing training to employeesEnsure all standing instructions and scheduled daily activities are executed according to the requirements for each shiftEnsure site personnel comply with all Paladin Security and Client policies and proceduresParticipate in the planning and implementation of shift schedulesGuarantee the maintenance of the necessary staffing levels on siteEnsure all security officers have received mandatory trainingMotivate staff and provide commendationsApply necessary disciplinary measures and ensure proper documentation is submitted to headquartersManage attendanceConduct security auditsDocument and investigate incidents and complaintsConduct proactive and reactive security patrolsCommunicate any concerns or issues to the Customer Service ManagerDevelop and maintain effective relationships with frontline personnelReview reportsRespond to incidents and provide feedback to frontline staffRespond to major incidents and provide necessary supportLiaise between management and frontline staffParticipate in the hiring and onboarding processes for new staffAssume all frontline security officer responsibilities as requiredConduct site visits within the assigned areaOther duties may be assigned to support operationsPrerequisites:Legally eligible to work in CanadaCOVID-19 vaccination, two dosesImmunization records for mumps, measles, rubella, varicella, and a two-step tuberculosis skin testFluency in French and English (spoken and written) is essentialMust be able to provide Use of Force (UoF) certificationCandidates without the certification may enroll in Paladin's UoF training program prior to their induction training to ensure they meet the job requirementsPlease note that UoF training is unpaid, as it is a prerequisite; however, Paladin will cover all training costs with a 6-month commitment to the position/availabilityWe thank all applicants for their interest; however, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.Paladin Security: Making the World a Safer and Friendlier Place because we CARE The Paladin Difference starts with our people; we're the best because we hire the best.
