Learn more about our .The team The Academic Integrity Office (AIO) is a neutral party and information resource that seeks to promote a culture of integrity and educational excellence by informing, inspiring and educating the members of the Toronto Metropolitan University community.One of the main objects of the AIO is to ensure that Policy 60: Academic Integrity is carried out in a fair and transparent way and to provide educational resources to the Toronto Metropolitan University community regarding academic integrity and misconduct. The AIO provides guidance and support to students and decision makers and ensures that all parties are aware of their rights and responsibilities.  The Opportunity The Academic Integrity Office (AIO) is seeking a professional and organized Academic Integrity Facilitation Assistant to join their team. The successful incumbent will assist in ensuring the efficient and appropriate implementation of the university’s Senate .Key responsibilities: Assists in the administration of appeals to the Academic Integrity Council (AIC) and the Progressive Discipline process under Policy 60, including, preparing hearing documents. Supports the day-to-day administration and function of the AIO, including support for events, training and related activities within the AIO, and maintains Policy 60 process documents to ensure all resources are up to date.Triages the AIO inbox and responds to inquiries from the university community.Monitors, reviews and communicate the process of the Facilitated and Non-Facilitated Discussions and works with the Designated Decision Makers Council Chair (DDMC) to monitor DDM requests.Acts as a neutral facilitator during facilitated discussionsQualificationsTo help us learn more about you, please provide a cover letter and resume describing how you meet the following required qualifications:Completion of a post-secondary degree program.Three to five (3-5) years of progressive experience at an administrative support position, dealing with highly confidential information.Knowledge and/or previous work experience in the educational sector.Excellent communication skills to handle a wide range of queries including interpretation of policies and regulations.Writing skills to draft correspondence.Decision-making skills including the exercise of discretion.Research, critical thinking and analytical skills.Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills to ensure investigations are conducted in a timely manner.Strong attention to detail.Tact and diplomacy to respond appropriately to the queries.Empathy, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.Knowledge of various word processing software.Basic Excel competency.
