Role: Datastage Developer Location: Toronto, Ontario Duration: 6 Months Introduction We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced developer with a focus on data warehousing and integration projects. This role involves designing and implementing ETL solutions using IBM InfoSphere DataStage and collaborating with various teams to ensure data consistency and availability for business intelligence and analytics. Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 8 years of experience in ETL development Strong proficiency in IBM InfoSphere DataStage Solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases like Oracle Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems, including shell scripting Deep understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing principles, and data integration best practices Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience with MS SQL DB and MS SQL utilities (e.g., BCP) Familiarity with data modeling concepts and techniques Experience working in agile environments and potentially with DevOps practices Day-to-Day Responsibilities Design and build DataStage jobs to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target data warehouses or data marts Optimize the performance of ETL processes to meet business requirements and ensure efficient data processing Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions Participate in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and potentially work within agile frameworks Provide support for existing DataStage jobs in production, including troubleshooting and resolving issues Company Benefits & Culture Inclusive and diverse work environment Opportunities for professional growth and development Supportive and collaborative team culture For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
