We are actively recruiting a highly motivated and experienced Contract Warehouse Specialist to provide crucial support to our distribution team. This is a full-time contract position covering the critical period spanning the end of 2025 and the start of 2026. This role is a key contributor to our operations, responsible for executing diverse warehouse tasks and ensuring the safe, efficient movement of inventory.Required Equipment ExpertiseDemonstrable expertise and safe operation of the following material handling equipment are mandatory:Sit-down Counterbalance ForkliftOrder PickerHigh LiftWorking Conditions & Contract CommitmentContract Duration: This is a temporary, full-time contract with mandatory coverage required during the specified timeframe (excluding the company's designated holiday closure).Overtime: Candidates must be willing to work voluntary overtime on evenings and some Saturdays when required to meet business demands.Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): The company provides all necessary PPE, except for CSA-approved safety shoes, which must be supplied by the successful candidate.AdvantagesContract Warehouse Specialist – Time-Sensitive OpportunityWe are actively recruiting a highly motivated and experienced Contract Warehouse Specialist to provide crucial support to our distribution team. This is a full-time contract position covering a critical inventory period.💵 Pay & AccessibilityWage: $21.00/hour plus 4% vacation pay.Accessibility: Transit accessible (Bus stop is a 4-minute walk from the work location).Contract DetailsTerm: Approximately December 1, 2025, through April/May 2026.Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.Overtime: Potential for voluntary overtime on evenings and some Saturdays.ResponsibilitiesOrder Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.Shipping & Receiving: Process incoming and outgoing shipments, including verifying contents against documentation and loading/unloading trucks.Material Handling: Safely operate material handling equipment, including a sit-down counterbalance forklift, order picker, and high lift.Inventory Management: Assist with cycle counts, inventory organization, and maintaining the accuracy of stock locations.Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, especially while operating machinery.QualificationsRequired Experience and SkillsMandatory Experience: Proven previous experience working in a fast-paced distribution or warehouse environment is mandatory.Equipment Expertise: Demonstrable expertise in the safe operation of the following equipment:Sit-down Counterbalance ForkliftOrder PickerHigh LiftOperational Skills: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory tasks.Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Physical Requirement: Physical ability to lift, move, and handle products as required in a warehouse setting.Beneficial Experience (Asset)Any experience utilizing SAP or similar Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is considered a significant asset.SummaryIf you are interested in this role, please reach out to Toni at toni.randstad.ca Randstad Canada is committed to fostering a workforce reflective of all peoples of Canada.
