Job DescriptionThe repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) nurse is primarily responsible for administering rTMS treatment, monitoring patient safety. and coordinating care within a multidisciplinary team for individuals with treatment-resistant depression. Under the supervision of a psychiatrist, duties include patient screening and preparation, education, operating and maintaining equipment and evaluating patients during and after sessions using standardized rating scales.QualificationsCase Manager (MSW/OT/RN) requiredRegistered with the Ontario College of NursesExperience working in a mental health settingPrevious TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) experience or willing to obtainExperience working with patients independentlyKnowledge and experience in patient focused goal setting and the use of outcome measuresStrong interpersonal and leadership skills neededSound clinical judgement and critical thinking requiredAbility to work in a fast paced environmentMust be flexible and show an ability to work collaboratively within a interdisciplinary teamLiaise with community partners, family physicians and case managers Develop programming based on best practiceExcellent problem solving and conflict/crisis resolution skillsWorking knowledge of the Mental Health Act and other related legislationAbility to adapt to the demands of a constantly changing workloadSatisfactory employment and attendance recordOther duties as assignedAdditional InformationHours: Monday to Friday, days, 7.5 hour shifts (hours subject to change based on operational needs)Salary: $46.004 to $59.637 per hourDate Posted: December 2, 2025Internal application deadline: December 9, 2025REF2963KHalton Healthcare is an equal opportunity employer who is committed to integrating diversity, equity and inclusion throughout our operations, policies and culture.
