Marketing and Event Coordinator- New Horizon Mall

Overview The Marketing and Event Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the organization’s brand visibility, client engagement, and business development efforts. The position is responsible to enhance the shopping mall’s brand presence, drive foot traffic, and foster community engagement through strategic marketing initiatives and well-executed events. The coordinator supports tenant promotions, seasonal campaigns, and public events that contribute to the mall’s commercial success and customer experience. Responsibilities Marketing & PromotionsDevelop and implement marketing campaigns to promote mall events, tenant offers, and seasonal activities.Create and manage content for digital platforms including social media, email newsletters, and website updates.Coordinate with retailers to support in-store promotions and cross-promotional opportunities.Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reporting on KPIs such as foot traffic, engagement, and ROI.Event Planning & ExecutionPlan and execute mall-wide events such as holiday activations, pop-up markets, and community outreach programs.Handle all logistics including vendor coordination, permits, décor, signage, and staffing.Ensure events are aligned with brand standards and deliver a positive customer experience.Collaborate with security, operations, and leasing teams to ensure smooth execution.Track budgets and provide post-event analysis and reporting.Tenant & Community EngagementServe as a liaison between mall management and tenants for marketing initiatives.Build relationships with local organizations, schools, and influencers to support community-based events.Coordinate sponsorships and partnerships that enhance mall visibility and customer loyalty.Administrative & Budget ManagementMaintain marketing and event calendars.Track budgets, process invoices, and manage marketing and event-related documentation.Support database management for targeted marketing efforts.Collaborate with business development, communications, and leadership teams to align efforts. Qualifications Preferred although not required post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.2–4 years of experience in retail marketing or event coordination required, preferably in a shopping mall or retail environment.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in marketing tools (., Canva, Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite) and Microsoft Office.
