Hiring Full Stack Java Developer in Montreal, Quebec

Location: Montreal, Quebec Duration: 6 Months Job Description: Required Skills & Qualifications Full-stack development, including Java for back-end and JavaScript or Typescript, HTML5, CSS, and Angular (preferably version 17) for front-end. Experience with Java (including Java 17 and/or Java 21), Maven/Gradle, and Spring Boot. Proficiency in RESTful APIs and Spring Security JWT (or OAuth2). Knowledge of cloud-based databases such as Neo4J (graph database) and Postgres. Experience with microservice implementation and debugging distributed applications in a Linux environment. Strong understanding of data structures/algorithms and software design patterns and architecture. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab or Jenkins. Experience with version control systems like Git/Gerrit. Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus Grafana (for metrics) and ELK/EFK Stack (for logging). Experience with Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and Spinnaker. Proficiency in Linux and Unix systems. Experience with unit test frameworks such as Junit and Mockito, and test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber, and Cypress. Proficiency with IDEs such as IntelliJ IDEA (Backend) & Visual Studio Code (Frontend). Experience with Free Open-Source Software and license handling. Experience in Agile software development and working in cross-functional teams. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Troubleshoot and support application development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
