Seize the opportunity: take your next step with us and join our team. Class 3 Route Delivery Driver/Inside Sales (Full Time) - Kelowna, BC (Starting Wage - Hourly)Key Accountabilities:Load and unload cylinders, count and record quantities and styles of product to ensure actual load complies with shipping documentsCheck and placard vehicle according to Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulationsFollow operating and safety procedures while completing the assigned tasksComplete shipping orders and related paperworkComplete trip reports, fuel tickets and other necessary reportsConduct pre and post trip inspections noting and explaining defects or deficiencies to supervisorIdentify need for repairs and/or maintenance to vehicles and is accountable to ensure the maintenance or repairs are conducted with a minimum of disruption to the operation.QualificationsQualifications:Minimum 2 years of Class 3 driving experienceValid, incident free, applicable provincial Driver's License with air brake endorsementAbility to manipulate a variety of cylinder sizes and weights as requiredAssets:Knowledge of compressed gases and safe handlingMechanical aptitudeAbility to lift up to 60 poundsTransportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) trainingPlease include your driver's abstract along with your resume when submitting your application.Linde has an extensive background check process which may include but is not limited to, a criminal background review, pre-employment medical, driver’s license and abstract review, reference checks, and employment verification.Linde Canada Inc. is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities.
