Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a qualified Program Quality Manager to join our Mining team, based out of Saskatoon, SK. The Program Quality Manager will be responsible for the overall quality program of the Ramp Up Projects including the role of a construction quality manager. The Program Quality Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining a comprehensive quality management system that governs all aspects of project execution, ensuring conformance to applicable standards and QA/QC requirements. This role involves developing and implementing the project’s quality program, including defining quality control and assurance processes, managing construction Quality/Welding activities, and issuing the program and construction quality plans. Key responsibilities include identifying and investigating nonconformities, documenting findings and lessons learned, driving process improvements, and verifying corrective and preventative actions. The manager also oversees quality auditing and surveillance and verification Mineies, interfaces with regulatory and third-party agencies, and collaborates with the IPMT team and construction leadership team to ensure that overall project quality objectives are achieved and the Quality Program is effectively implemented and have the opportunity to work on K+S Potash (KSPC) as an Integrated Project Management Team (IPMT), to expand the KSPC Bethune Potash Mine in near Moose Jaw Saskatchewan from 2.2 to 3.0M tonnes per annum over the next 5 years. The final production capacity is intended to grow over decades to 4M tonnes per year, doubling the current production output of potash. Key personnel will support the project from Saskatoon and Bethune, with additional support staff supporting from Calgary, Edmonton, and Toronto.Join us in this full-time permanent roleThe Program Quality Manager will be initially based in the Saskatoon head office with weekly visits to Bethune site and will increase their site presence in proportion with construction activities.  Or the role can be based at site, in Bethune, SK.  Work Location This position will be based at our Saskatoon home office initially, with a requirement to mobilize full-time to the Bethune site after approximately one year. Alternatively, the successful candidate may choose to be based at the Bethune site from the start. Please note this is not a rotational role.Relocation Assistance Relocation assistance may be considered for the successful candidate.Living Out Allowance (LOA) When based at the Bethune site—whether from day one or upon mobilization—a lump-sum Living Out Allowance (LOA) will be provided to support living expenses while on assignment. This allowance is not intended to cover frequent home travel.The position requires extensive experience with engineering, procurement, and construction within the potash industry. This position will report to the Program Director and construction manager with coordination with IPMT and will require extensive regular client facing interaction.Duties & Responsibilities:Quality Program LeadershipLead the planning and implementation of the Ramp Up Projects’ QA/QC program, including construction quality.Develop and maintain quality plans, work process procedures and contractor quality documentation.Oversee issuance and resolution of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective Actions (CARs), and Preventive Actions (PARs).Auditing & SurveillanceDevelop and manage the audit and surveillance schedule across IPMT, ESPs, and contractors.Serve as lead auditor when required; analyze results and report effectiveness to the Program Director and IPMT.Direct QA specialists and ensure verification of corrective/preventive actions.Construction Quality OversightMonitor construction work processes and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.Review and approve contractor submittals related to quality, including execution plans and inspection records.Validate quality records and ensure turnover documentation meets contract requirements.Team Development & CollaborationProvide ongoing training and performance evaluations for QA personnel.Collaborate with IPMT, construction leadership, and external agencies to meet project quality objectives.Champion the KSPC Lessons Learned program and lead root cause analyses for significant events.QualificationsDegree in engineering, scientific discipline, or equivalent practical experience in quality assurance, design engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, or related fields.10–15 years of relevant experience as a Quality Lead or Manager in construction or industrial project environments.Strong knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards, and auditing practices for large-scale project delivery.Proven ability to lead teams, drive continuous improvement, and manage complex quality programs. Skilled in root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.Effective communicator with experience engaging diverse stakeholders including clients, contractors, and internal teams.High attention to detail, self-motivated, and committed to quality outcomes.Comfortable working in fast-paced environments using agile methodologies.Familiarity with engineering workflows, contracts & procurement, certification, commissioning, project controls, HSE, and risk management.Experience with Hexagon SmartCompletion and Aconex (asset).Knowledge of the potash industry (asset).Additional InformationOur culture is guided by our Mission and Values, these shape how we treat one another, our Clients, and how we achieve excellence.
