Oxford Learning Bedford is looking for enthusiastic, reliable Math & Science Teachers/Tutors to join our team This is an excellent role for future teachers, STEM students, certified teachers, and anyone who enjoys explaining concepts and watching students succeed. Why You’ll Love Working Here No lesson planning — we provide all curriculum and materials Small group instruction (maximum 3 students) Hands-on training in the Oxford Learning method Consistent shifts and a supportive team environment Fantastic experience for education students or new teachers A fun centre culture (yes, we celebrate with high-fives) Job Type: Part-Time 6-15 hours per week Schedule: You must be available for at least two of the following: Monday & Wednesday: 4:00pm–7:00 pm Tuesday & Thursday: 4:00pm–8:30pm Saturday: 9:30am–2:00pm In-person only. This is not an online position. Relocation packages are not available. Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory. What You’ll Do Teach and coach up to 3 students at a time Support students in Grades 9–12 math and science Follow Oxford Learning methodologies Complete short post-lesson notes  Create a positive, encouraging learning environment We’d Love to Meet You If You Have… Education Bachelor’s degree or current university student in a related field Skills & Experience Strong knowledge of high school math and/or science Experience tutoring, teaching or coaching students Strong English communication skills Ability to multitask and work with multiple students Patient, engaging, and positive attitude Applicants comfortable with at least two of the following are encouraged to apply: Advanced Functions, Pre-Calculus & Calculus, Grade 9–12 Math, Chemistry, Physics, Biology.
