Working here is fast-paced, non-stop, and a little unpredictable—and we love it.Your area of focus.As a Quick Lube Technician, you are responsible for inspecting and lubricating customer’s vehicles in accordance with policies and procedures as set forth by the Service Manager. The Lube Technician will also perform light mechanical work such as tire and battery replacement. What drives your day-to-day?Perform Oil & filter changesSell lubrication, safety inspection, & related servicesPerform complete multi-point inspection on vehicle, check, and mark all required items on the checklist as required. Present the findings to the Service AdvisorReplace oil and air filtersInspect vehicle fluid levels, replace or replenish as necessaryCheck tire pressure and add air if neededLubricate moving parts with specified lubricantsTire mounting/balancing, rotations and repairsCommunicate with the parts department to obtain needed partsReport machinery defects or malfunctions to the supervisorDocument all work performed on the repair orderParticipate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs as assigned by the service managerEnsure that customers' cars are kept cleanNotify the Service Advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicleKeep the shop area neat and cleanOperate all tools and equipment in a safe mannerReport any safety issues immediately to managementOther tasks as assignedWhat are the must-haves…High school diploma or the equivalentAbility to read and comprehend instructions and informationProfessional demeanor and strong work ethicExcellent communication and organizational skillsEfficient problem-solving skillsAbility to work individually and as part of a teamHigh level of integrity and work ethicAbility to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time and using power tools and hand-held equipmentA valid driver's license and a safe driving historyThe Perks.Competitive Compensation and Benefits PackageEmployee Vehicle Purchase & Service PlansEmployee and Family Assistance ProgramsCompany-wide appreciation events and contests throughout the calendar year Professional development and the opportunity to grow your career And those are just the basics.
