Join Regal Rexnord’s Large Gear business as a Regional Sales Engineer, acting as the primary advocate for our customers and the main liaison between clients and our engineering and commercial teams. You’ll manage new sales, service, and repairs within your assigned region, driving growth and ensuring flawless communication and execution.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.Partner with Sales Directors and Account Managers to establish strategic plans and achieve regional service quotas.Conduct on-site visits to plants in industries such as aggregate, pulp & paper, oil sands, steel, mining, forestry, power generation, and food & grain.Identify and pursue growth opportunities in aftermarket motion control solutions.Collaborate with Area Account Managers to develop customer relationships, define needs, and communicate solutions.Analyze, edit, and process incoming requests for quotations and orders.Prepare formal quotations and coordinate activities with the Strategic Account team.Work closely with Manufacturer Representatives and provide ongoing training to Area Account Managers and Key Users.Own direct target accounts and annual improvement priorities as assigned.Log CRM activities and track sales execution metrics (calls, QBRs, training events).Ensure alignment with internal teams: Product Management, Business Development, Application Engineering, Customer Care, and Operations.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field preferred.Knowledge of mechanical power transmission products required.10+ years of commercial/technical sales experience preferred.Previous experience in engineering or technical roles within the services/repair industry.Experience selling aftermarket products/services and/or repair.Proficiency with PC, CRM, and Microsoft Office.Willingness to travel extensively (60–70%).Key Traits & DriversTechnical mindset with strong gearing and industry/application knowledge.Excellent time management, planning, communication, and presentation skills.Strong negotiating skills and ability to navigate a matrixed organization.Results-driven, resilient, and action-oriented.Customer-focused, problem-solving aptitude, and positive attitude.About Regal RexnordRegal Rexnord is a publicly held global industrial manufacturer with 30,000 associates around the world who help create a better tomorrow by providing sustainable solutions that power, transmit and control motion.
