Forklift Operator

We are seeking a certified Forklift Operator who possesses an exceptional mastery of various lifting equipment, including sit-down models (propane and electric), stand-up, reach-type, and double reach-type. This essential role within the Manufacturing and Logistics team is a temporary position with a strong intention to transition into a permanent role, thus offering career stability.Advantages- A very competitive salary of $22 to $25 per hour, reflecting your versatility and forklift operator expertise.- A stable daytime schedule from Monday to Friday (7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.), promoting your work-life balance.- A concrete opportunity to secure a permanent position following the temporary period.- The chance to work in a specialized and essential sector of Manufacturing and Logistics.- A work environment that values safety and team collaboration.- The experience of being part of a team of professionals in logistics and handling (material handling).Responsibilities- Operate various models of forklifts (sit-down propane, electric, stand-up, reach, and double reach) with expertise and in complete safety.- Perform the handling, movement, and safe storage of materials and products in the warehouse.- Actively participate in order preparation (picking) with accuracy according to work orders.- Ensure the packaging (packing) of products is adequate and secure for shipping.- Load and unload delivery trucks using the appropriate forklift.- Verify the conformity of goods received and shipped and report any discrepancies.- Maintain the order and cleanliness of work areas, the warehouse, and loading docks.- Collaborate with the shipping team to optimize workflow in Manufacturing and Logistics.- Maintain accurate records of inventory and product movements.Qualifications- Complete mastery and certification of the different types of forklifts required.- Excellent knowledge of warehouse and material handling safety practices.- Demonstrated ability in order preparation (picking) and reading work orders.- Rigor and attention to detail for packaging and shipment verification.- Ability to work autonomously and integrate effectively into a logistics team.- Organization and priority management in a dynamic warehouse environment.SummaryDon't miss this opportunity to join our team as a forklift operator in the manufacturing and logistics sector.
