We do not use artificial intelligence in the screening or selection of applicants for this position.  What you will be doing: As the Hotel Rooms Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving group sales and maximizing room bookings while leading the teams that shape our guests’ entire experience. From cultivating relationships with group clients to overseeing the seamless coordination of guest services and housekeeping teams, you’ll ensure every stay is smooth, welcoming, and aligned with the high standards of the Arlington Hotel. In this role, your responsibilities will include: Communicating effectively with guests, building rapport, and resolving concerns with professionalism and care Promoting and securing guest room bookings using strong sales and customer service techniques Overseeing the Housekeeping, Guest Services, and Maintenance teams, providing coaching, training, and leadership to deliver superior customer service Ensuring hotel rooms, public areas, and the building overall are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety for guests, employees, and visitors Collaborating with the Assistant General Manager to establish budgets and support hotel rooms operational requirements Conducting inventory and purchasing required supplies in alignment with established purchasing processes Fostering a positive, supportive work environment by living our Purpose, Vision, and Values with both the team and our guests Performing other duties as assigned to support smooth and efficient hotel operations This role is ideal for a motivated and service-focused leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and takes pride in elevating the guest experience at every turn. The hospitality you bring to every stay: 2-3 years’ experience in a hotel environment, preferably in Guest Services or Housekeeping Post-secondary education in hotel management or related discipline 1-2 years’ experience in a supervisory/managerial position Experience with Property Management System (PMS) Jonas Chorum an asset Friendly, professional, and customer service focused Strong problem-solving abilities Humble, uplifting, and supportive leadership style Excellent verbal and written communication skills Smart Serve certification required We are Carmen's Group—a proud Hamilton-born hospitality company with a mission to create extraordinary memories.
