Our work is difficult but we get it done safely, with great peopleVariety: changing work scopes from one day to the next – there is always a new challengeKey Duties & Responsibilities:Develop, update, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 for all phases of project executionSupport the integration of engineering, procurement, and project schedulesCreate standard and custom schedules and charts using Primavera P6Export and import data between Primavera and other databasesResponsible for understanding the complete project scope, project schedule objectives as well as supporting and maintaining a plan and schedule to accomplish objectivesSupport project forecasting, change management, and schedule integration across disciplinesSupport the integration of all activity sequences and logics with the total project planEnsure accurate schedules, resource, quantities, progress, and performance reportingIndependently monitor critical and near critical path work and identifies issues for mitigation.Proactively assesses progress, completion forecasts and provides solutions to mitigate schedule delays or to optimize project completionEvaluate the project progress against historical indicators and provides comparative analysisSupport the implementation of scheduling and progress metrics and monitoring systemsQualifications:5+ years of Primavera scheduling experience in a similar roleExperience with project controls is an assetDemonstrated ability to work independently on complex project controls issuesRecent advanced level working knowledge of Primavera 6, Excel, and AccessMust be able to work overtime and adapt to changing work schedulesAdvanced verbal and written communication skillsPersonal Characteristics:You can speak to anyone – internal and external customers, coordinators and planners and the field personnel executing the workYou can work in a fast paced environment and can learn on the flyYou can take high level direction and turn it into tangible processes and documentationYou are highly motivated and proactive; eagerly accepting new challenges and working under minimal supervisionYou seek out knowledge and want to be a part of the strategyYou have the ability and willingness to work in a group environment and communicate effectively with team membersAdditional InformationThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
