We're excited to embark on an initiative to develop a robust Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) framework. This approach is designed to meticulously track project progress, uphold transparency and accountability in our implementation efforts, and gather valuable lessons for ongoing improvement. Your contribution will include training staff in MEAL methodologies, enabling stakeholder feedback mechanisms, and harnessing insights for strategic planning and resource allocation. Together, we will enhance our ability to achieve results and disseminate best practices across all our programs. Join us to make a meaningful differenceAs a volunteer, you will:Develop tools and systems for data collection and monitoring.Train staff on data collection protocols and techniques.Design and conduct baseline, mid-term, and end-line evaluations.Analyze data to assess project outcomes and impact; produce evaluation reports with recommendations.Implement feedback and accountability mechanisms, including beneficiary input.Facilitate knowledge sharing through workshops, platforms, and documentation of lessons learned.Essential Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Health, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.Essential Background:Experience & Sector Knowledge: 2–3 years in monitoring and evaluation, with exposure to sectors like community development, health, education, or humanitarian aid.Technical & Analytical Skills: Proficiency in M&E frameworks, data collection, and analysis using tools such as Excel or SPSS; ability to interpret data and produce clear, actionable reports.Project & Communication Competence: Strong organizational skills for managing projects and deadlines, plus excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholder engagement and reporting.What’s in it for YOU? You will have a Volunteering Mobilization Advisor (VMA) to support you through the process and will participate in pre-placement training as part of your preparation. You will also have access to self-directed briefing documents, online training, and external resources through the volunteer portal.
