About the Position:  Currently, Technica is seeking a self-motivated individuals to join our growing team as a Heavy Duty Mechanic in Mine Development. These are currently available positions in our shop setting or on the beat, both of which will assist our maintenance team in their efforts to maintain and progress our long-term, local development projects in various locations in Sudbury, Ontario. We are actively seeking to fill these positions to support the continued success of our operations. Key Responsibilities: Support local projects across our Sudbury, Ontario work sites. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical failures of motorized equipmentPerform daily equipment inspectionsTest repaired equipment for proper performance to ensure work meets manufacturers specificationsMaintain accurate and up-to-date service logs and documentationOrder parts as required to complete repairsFollow daily line-ups and executing scheduled work in accordance with health and safety standards as well as manufacturer specifications Qualifications: 421A Heavy Duty Equipment Technician - Journey Person Candidate or;Licensed 310T Truck and Coach Technician or;Licensed 310S Automotive Service TechnicianBasic Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core (U0000, U0001, U0002, & U00012) or equivalent provincial designation is preferredMinimum of five (5) years' underground experience is preferredStrong diagnostic skills to troubleshoot and repair equipmentStrong technical aptitude to use digital platforms used for work orders, email, etc. High level of self-motivation and autonomyAbility to work as a team and independently in a fast-paced environmentCommitted to maintaining a safe and efficient work environmentFamiliar with CAT, Epiroc, and/or MacLean equipment is preferred  Why Choose Technica?
