We work together with integrity and pride, striving to reach our fullest potential every day, and we’re looking for people who do the same.Winery Associates are responsible for providing consistent, outstanding hospitality to all visitors by providing an overall entertaining and informative tour and tasting experiences for each individual or group of visitors with the ultimate goal of achieving sales. Ideal candidates for the Winery Associate position will have experience in the hospitality industry, with wine knowledge being an important asset. Our chosen candidates must be energetic, personable, upbeat and responsible. Candidates must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends.Team members enjoy:Competitive wages (include language premiums)Creative incentive programsFull training and exciting long-term career opportunitiesFlexible hoursDuties/Responsibilities/Procedures:Assisting customers with wine tasting and purchasesConducting entertaining and informative tours of the winery, including performing structured tastings for tour groupsProviding exceptional and professional customer serviceUse a computer-operated point-of-sale system and perform opening and closing dutiesAssisting with special eventsProviding dinner service in both formal and informal settingsRepresenting the winery at offsite eventsStocking wine and giftwarePerforming general housekeeping dutiesJob Requirements:Smart Serve Certification18 years of age or olderAbility work well within a team-focused environmentMotivation to exceed sales targetsCritical thinking and decision-making skillsAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentResponsible and trustworthyAmbitious and goal-orientedRetail experience is a must-haveAbility to lift 40 lbsAbility to stand for long periods of timePrevious serving experience would be an assetFluency in French, Chinese, Korean or Japanese would be considered an assetWine knowledge an asset but not necessary as training is providedMust be available to work on evenings and weekendsCompensation: $17.65 per hour
