Hiring Oracle Fusion QA Tester in Toronto, Ontario

Location: Toronto, Ontario Duration: 6 Months Job Description: We are seeking a skilled analyst with expertise in testing Oracle Fusion Applications to join our team for a 6-month contract in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have experience in testing various Oracle Fusion modules and a strong understanding of software QA methodologies and tools. Required Skills & Qualifications More than 5 years of proven experience as a QA Tester, with a significant focus on Oracle Fusion Applications. Hands-on experience testing at least two of the following Oracle Fusion modules: Financials (FSCM), HCM, SCM. Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and plans. Solid knowledge of SQL for data validation and querying. Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, Zephyr). Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience with Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI). Experience testing inbound and outbound integrations with other systems (e.g., EDI, SOAP/REST APIs, PLSQL). Experience in supporting business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Day-to-Day Responsibilities Test end-to-end business processes within and across Oracle Fusion modules. Validate reports and analytics built using OTBI. Analyze business requirements, functional design documents, and user stories to understand testing scope. Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Execute test cases manually and automate where possible for various types of testing. Identify, record, document, and track defects meticulously using tools like JIRA, ALM, or OTBI. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
