In addition to the above-noted supervisory role, the successful applicant will also perform clinical duties within their fields of competency.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine TechnologyCanadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certificationNova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP)  Nuclear Medicine licensureMinimum (3) three years’ recent experience required working as a (Nuc Med) technologist in a hospital settingFormal management course preferredStrong leadership skills, with demonstrated progressive leadership responsibilities in a multi-modality/site imaging department.Ensures competency, and maintains an ongoing interest in updating knowledge on new equipment and proceduresPractices excellent patient care; demonstrating courtesy, kindness and understanding using effective communication skillsStrong organizational skills that demonstrate the ability to prioritize upon short notice while maintaining attention to detail and accuracyWell-developed decision-making, analytical, interpretation, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsConflict management skills and knowledge of appropriate resourcesEffective communication and interpersonal skillsCompetencies in other languages an asset, French preferredPlease ensure your resume is up to date and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certifications.HoursPermanent full-time position; 75 hours biweeklyShift work required, evenings, nights, and weekendsCompensation and BenefitsTeam Lead for MRT's (HTH627) :  $38.79 - $49.48 hourlyTeam Lead for Specialty NM/CT/MR/IV (HTH830): $38.43 - $50.99 hourly Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.Once You've AppliedThank you for your interest in this position.
