If you are available, we want to hear from you  Job Details: Shift: 7/7, 8/6, 14/14   Compensation: Competitive rates based on your experience Working Hours: 12h Travel Pay: Ground and flight travel compensation Pre-Employment Conditions: Pre-access D&A test, Standard PPE Requirements: Assembling, installing, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting and repairing HVAC equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls on all equipment.  Reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints and schematics to determine layout of HVAC equipment installations.  Providing technical HVAC assistance to coworkers as required. Developing and conducting preventative maintenance programs and keeping up to date and accurate maintenance records. Carrying out soldering, brazing, welding and various other pipe joining techniques on or in relation to refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Maintaining and making electrical repairs to existing equipment from the breaker or disconnect switch as follows: Changing controls, contactors, motors and compressors; repairing burnt or broken wires; making minor upgrades of controls to existing refrigeration and air conditioning systems.  Install and calibrate related controls (including wiring). Startup systems, test lines to detect leaks, and record readings to ensure the system in functioning correctly.  Submit recommendations and quotes to internal/external estimating teams, including technical details where required. Proactively seek new HVAC/Process opportunities.  Ensure PTA cards are included as part of each job/task. Complies with standards and procedures of the PTW Health & Safety Manual and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.
