ABOUT THE ROLE Procurify is looking for an outgoing and data-focused person who is passionate about the end-to-end experience. You are a person with a knack for details, and you’re motivated by helping our internal team, external customers and stakeholders. Everyone at Procurify is a team player. We’re seeking entrepreneurial people who are willing to challenge the status quo and contribute to larger strategic objectives. What you’ll be working on Manage month-end close activities, including but not limited to credit card, bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, Maintain accurate and organized documentation of month-end close procedures, supporting schedules by ensuring compliance with document retention policies and internal controls. Perform monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, streamline reconciliation workflows and leverage solutions to automate manual tasks. Review and approve vendor bills and expense reimbursements by properly coding and categorizing expenses/invoices in the accounting system. Review and approve A/R invoices by ensuring compliance with accounting standards, company policies and regulatory requirements. Coordinate and execute the end-to-end payroll process including data entry, calculation of wages, and deductions. Prepare US state, provincial, and GST tax returns ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. Assist the Accounting Manager in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department. Assist with preparing and reviewing working papers required for annual financial statement audits. Prepare timely analysis for ad hoc requests and projects as directed by general management. Who we’re looking for 3+ years of relevant accounting experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required CPA Designation required Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to multi-task and work effectively within a fast-paced environment Understand Canada’s federal and provincial sales taxes Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and ability to work independently Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook Experience with QuickBooks Online, Netsuite or similar accounting software Bonus points for experience in the technology/SaaS industry WHY PROCURIFY? Base Salary Range: $72,000.00 - $100,000.00 (This range is dependent on experience and not inclusive of any bonus, commission, benefits or equity that might exist in your total compensation package.)
