Description :Trouble shooting Caterpillar equipment and perform equipment repairsInterface with customers, products and sales supportWorking with the Supervisor on various tasksProviding support with reference to on-site safety requirementsMaintain Finning Customer Service CommitmentVarious related duties as requiredQualifications:Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician CertificationJourneyperson Certification in Mechanic, Electrician, Millwright and Automotive may also be considered​Experience in the Gas Compression IndustryPrevious field service experienceMinimum 3 years experience as a Heavy Duty TechnicianCompletion, or in process of completing, Finning S-level coursesWHMIS certification with previous Caterpillar repair experienceTeam player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skillsSelf-motivated, computer literate, and safety orientated with the ability to work under minimal supervisionLeadership skills and ability to effectively interact with customers5-year drivers abstract is requiredNote:This position operates on a 5x2 schedule, based out of our Red Deer facilityOut of town work occasionally requiredAny future shift changes will be made in accordance with the collective agreementA condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator**Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current collective agreement**Union Membership: You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position.
