Position SummaryWe are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Environmental Services Worker to fill a position at the Stewart Health Centre.In accordance with established vision and values of the organization, this position performs a variety of environmental services duties throughout the facility. Maintains clean and disinfected conditions in areas such as patient/resident/client rooms, Operating Rooms, Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory, Labour and Delivery Rooms, washrooms, corridors, hallways, lounges, offices, and common areas used by staff, visitors and patients/residents/clients as established in Northern Health Regional Environmental Services Policies and Processes.Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 07:30 to 13:25 Stewart Health Centre Stewart Health Centre provides:• Outpatient services• 24/7 on-call care• Public Health services• Pre/postnatal infant and childcare• Walk in emergency services• Full-time Lab and X-ray departmentsHospital staff:• 2 full-time Physicians• Public health nurse• Nursing and support staffOther services provided at Stewart Health Centre:• Medical clinic• Patient/physician videoconferencing consultations• Visiting specialities clinics• Ambulance• Mental Health and Addictions services Stewart Located at the head of Portland Canal, a steep, narrow ocean fjord that forms a natural border between British Columbia and Alaska is the community of Stewart. This is one of the most spectacular spots in BC, with its towering snow-capped mountains and hanging glaciers of Bear Pass. The population of Stewart is approximately 500 people. The major industries are logging, mining and tourism. There are four elementary schools, one middle school, one secondary school, and two post-secondary schools.
