As emerging technologies and new applications are added to the health care services supported by eHealth, this portfolio continues to expand and plays a vital role in ensuring seamless, high-quality healthcare delivery across the province. The Manager, Tertiary Care Programs will provide strategic oversight, drive operational excellence, and foster collaboration between clinical teams, IT, and vendors to support evolving healthcare needs. The successful candidate will bring exceptional leadership, communication, and program management skills, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment dedicated to improving patient care outcomes.What You’ll DoReporting to the Director of Acute and Tertiary Care Services, you will: •Lead strategic planning and oversee the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of assigned program areas. •Provide leadership to a diverse team by setting performance expectations, supporting staff development, offering ongoing feedback, and completing annual reviews. •Build strong relationships and collaborate with provincial stakeholders, government partners, executives, and community organizations to support program and organizational objectives.•Facilitate and negotiate solutions to complex operational and stakeholder issues using sound judgment, conceptual thinking, and collaborative problem-solving.•Communicate effectively through clear verbal and written updates, recommendations, and engagement with internal and external partners.•Develop communication plans and formal issues-management processes to ensure transparency and timely response to stakeholder concerns.•Lead quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives aligned with program goals and organizational priorities.•Oversee data analysis and reporting for utilization management, demand and capacity planning, quality assurance, and program evaluation.•Prepare, manage, and evaluate annual staffing and operating budgets, including forecasting and variance reporting.•Set and adjust priorities to meet evolving organizational and system demands.• Manage a large and complex portfolio of clinical applications supporting critical services such as cardiology, neurology, and other specialized areas.What You’ll Bring to the Team• Strategic leadership with the ability to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate complex healthcare programs.• A collaborative approach that builds strong, lasting relationships with stakeholders across the province .• Proven ability to translate strategic objectives into clear work plans with measurable outcomes.• Commitment to continuous quality improvement through monitoring, evaluation, and evidence-based decision making.• Strong facilitation skills to lead committees, working groups, and cross-functional teams toward shared goals.• Analytical and data-informed thinking to assess utilization, demand, capacity, and program performance.• Financial and operational acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and managing service agreements and vendor relationships.• Inspirational people leadership focused on performance development, accountability, and team engagement .• Transparent communication and proactive issues management to strengthen stakeholder confidence and service delivery.• Integrity, professionalism, and a steadfast commitment to eHealth Saskatchewan’s mission, vision, and client-centered values.Experience & Qualifications• 5+ years of management and leadership experience, preferably within a healthcare IT sector.• Experience being accountable for delivery and operation of enterprise-scaled clinical applications within the healthcare or eHealth sectors.• Post-secondary degree in business, information technology, or a health-related field.• Strong understanding of the linkage and processes involved in Project, Program, and Portfolio Management.• Familiarity with healthcare and digital health technology trends and best practices.• Solid understanding of budgets, forecasting, and business case financials.• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.• Proficiency with tools within M365, including SharePoint Online.• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.As one of Saskatchewan’s Top Employers we offer:• A dynamic work environment with opportunities to create and build.• A competitive salary.• A physical wellness flex benefit program.• A comprehensive benefits package, including pension.• Paid vacation, scheduled days off and other types of leaves.
