Job DescriptionOur Environmental Service Workers know housekeeping and laundry is about more than cleaning — it’s about creating a welcoming, safe environment where Residents feel comfortable and cared for. Every task you do helps support dignity and quality of life.This position is for a 6:30am to 2:30pm shift, we are also looking for someone open to picking up additional shifts.If you were working for us as a Environmental Service Worker, here are some of the things you would have done last week:Washed and dried Residents’ clothing and linens, ensuring items were returned fresh and in good conditionDisinfected and cleaned to support infection controlCleaned Residents’ rooms and common areas, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and bathroomsFollowed WHMIS guidelines and safe handling procedures for all cleaning productsHelped maintain a safe environment by adhering to Health & Safety StandardsWorked as part of a supportive team, assisting coworkers and covering shifts as needed (days, evenings, weekends, and last-minute call-ins)Took pride in creating a comfortable, homelike environment for Residents every dayAnd supported your team as needed. When you apply, if you have your credentials, we will try our best to reach out to you within the week (hopefully within a few days).
