Integration Specialist

Join our Calgary client's team as a Senior Integration Developer on an initial 6-month contract where you will play a role in designing, developing, and delivering complex enterprise application integration (EAI) solutions. If you are an expert in IBM Transformation Extender (ITX/WTX) and thrive on managing the full project lifecycle from concept to delivery, this is the perfect opportunity to make a significant impact on critical business systems.Advantages• Take full ownership of projects, from initial requirement gathering to final production support.• Work directly with business stakeholders to translate their needs into technical solutions.• Gain exposure to the complete EAI lifecycle, including design, testing, and user training.• Opportunity to build Proofs of Concept (POCs) and evaluate new software features.• Collaborate with multiple teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Responsibilities• Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed system requirement documents.• Design and develop complex integration solutions and interfaces using IBM Transformation Extender (ITX/WTX).• Build, execute, and document test plans and test cases using tools like HPALM.• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).• Manage code deployment and version control using GIT/SVN and Team City.• Create and maintain technical documentation and application support guides for end-users.• Provide ongoing application support, proactive monitoring, and on-call rotation as required.Qualifications• Minimum 7 years of experience in EAI design and development.• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with IBM Transformation Extender (WTX 8.4+), including development, support, and migration.• Strong understanding of EDI X12 guidelines and experience with WTX Trading Manager.• Proficiency with SQL/PL-SQL, common transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPs), and the Linux OS.• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate directly with business users.SummaryIf you are a results-driven integration specialist ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role, we want to hear from you.
