Our reliable product development and launch capability, coupled with our global footprint, make us a trusted partner for customers in the aerospace, hydraulic cylinders, flooring, textile, and geo components industries. Learn more about the history of Legge https://leggett.com/historyMaintenance Technician – Journeyperson Millwright – Rotating Shifts once per month (plus Shift premium)Clean/Air-Conditioned FacilityUSW Shop RESPONSIBILITIES: · Maintenance/repair of the assigned production equipment using the prescribed techniques· Performs preventative maintenance of manufacturing related equipment using the prescribed techniques.· Inspects equipment to assure safe operating conditions prior to start-up.· Maintains log of repairs and of completed preventative maintenance.· Review all equipment operation/maintenance information/manuals supplied to assembly technicians· Responsible for shutting down equipment due to unsafe and/or process out of control conditions.· Completes equipment changeovers in accordance with established standards· Makes use of all prescribed safety equipment and implement safe work practices· Proper maintenance of workstations – ensure good housekeeping habits· Responsible for knowing and upholding the H&S Policy and for working in a safe manner and reporting all unsafe or unhealthy conditions or acts.· Participate in continuous improvement activities.· Participates actively in the requirement to retain ISO/TS16949/ISO14001 certification· Adhere to all company policies and practices· Completes assignments, duties and projects that may be assigned.· Willing to work overtime on weekends and holidays as needed QUALIFICATIONS: · 433A Industrial Mechanic certificate required· Valid G Driver’s License· Knowledge of safety and workplace hazardous materials procedures· Must possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills· Basic machining utilizing a vertical mill and lathe· Mechanical, hydraulic, welding skills.· Basic industrial electrical skills· Capable of working effectively both as a team member and independently· Must be able to demonstrate troubleshooting skills· Must possess knowledge of machine assembly (from drawings or prototype)· Computer skills that include CMMS, Microsoft office and Word  Pension Plan, Great benefits at no copay, great deal of autonomyWhat to Do NextNow that you’ve had a chance to learn more about us, what are you waiting for Apply today and allow us the opportunity to learn more about you and the value you can bring to our team.
