Program Manager (Healthcare) Back to All Jobs [social_share] Our client requires two (2) Program Managers with at least 7 years of experience managing digital health projects. These managers will create and manage short- and long-term goals and develop an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement. They will be responsible for Client Engagement and Client Management, including but not limited to health care organizations and technology providers. These managers will manage Program schedules and milestones and provide program reporting, manage Project Risk/Issue Management, and implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved. Work is hybrid with up to 3 days onsite at client location in Toronto, ON. Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid) Mandatory Requirements 7 + years experience program/project managing digital health projects, and the complex relationships, including health information systems, electronic medical records, eReferral solutions and patient portals. 7 + years experience with and knowledge of Project Management concepts (e.g. project goals, risk, scope, participant roles, planning, quality management, risk management and change management) 7 + years experience leadership, team building, and communication skills, including experience with presenting to C-suite and Executive Leadership Groups across the health Strong stakeholder management, vendor relations, planning and resource management skills Time management, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize multiple projects Collaboration, coordinating tasks, and ensuring that everybody works together effectively, this also involves conflict resolution Demonstrated experience leading and overseeing program strategy development from inception through to project close-out Demonstrated ability to develop successful relationship and build agreement with high-level internal and external stakeholders Demonstrated experience understanding and articulating executive expectations and translating into program deliverables Experience developing budgets based on multiple funding channels and cross-organization dependencies Demonstrated experience with privacy and security requirements of software development and integrations in a healthcare or clinical context. Desirable Requirements Public Sector experience College/University undergraduate degree in Health, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related discipline from a recognized institution or equivalent experience Professional certifications: Project Management Professional; Knowledge and understanding of Project Management’s Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge and/or Lean Six Sigma Demonstrated project management software skills and experience e.g. MS Project, MS Teams etc. Knowledge of Ontario’s healthcare landscape including the Electronic Health Record, EMR Systems (TELUS Health, WELL EMR, and Accuro), Provincial Digital Services, Hospital Information Systems (Epic, Meditech and Cerner) and other Healthcare Information Systems used throughout the province Experience with health system business implementation and deployment projects Proven track record working with multidisciplinary teams Experience in liaising with customers/stakeholders where customer service was a key focus to responding to queries, issues/risk management, etc. Relationship building, facilitation and influencing skills to successfully partner with internal and external stakeholders Ability to readily identify, assess and mitigate implementation and adoption issues Knowledge of change management, business process integration, and/or evaluation/quality improvement, preferably in the health sector Experience operating in highly political environments and across various organizational cultures Working knowledge of privacy policies and legislative processes – Health Protection and Promotion Act (HPPA), Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) and Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) and associated Health Information Custodian (HIC) requirements would be an asset
