About the Opportunity RAM Elevators & Lifts Inc. is an industry leading, Edmonton-based manufacturer of residential and commercial elevators and accessibility lifts. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Elevator Assembler for our Crystal product line. About the role The Elevator Assembler (Crystal) will work with the rest of the Crystal Assembly team, who to build RAM’s Crystal products from start to finish. This individual will work well with a team and independently with minimal supervision as required to ensure a high level of efficiency. The Elevator Assembler’s attention to detail and level of diligence will contribute to producing high quality lifts for RAM clients. The successful candidate for this role must be available to work shifts of 6:30am-3:00pm and 2:45pm-11:15pm as needed. Responsibilities Assembly of electrical and mechanical components Use of hand tools Performing safe work practices Follow standard work practices to achieve consistent results Develop the trust and respect required to effectively lead a collaborative effort in building residential and light commercial elevators Ensure product meets high quality standards Qualifications Previous experience doing electrical mechanical assembly work desired Mechanical knowledge required Measuring tape, drills, impact guns, saws, and other hand tools Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Proficiency in spoken and written English is required Knowledgeable in lean manufacturing principles would be a strong asset Work Remotely No Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $$ per hour Additional pay: Overtime pay Benefits: Casual dress Dental care Disability insurance Extended health care Life insurance On-site parking Paid time off Vision care Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Night shift Application question(s): How would you rate your ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams (beginner, intermediate, expert)?
