This role focuses on event operations, ensuring the smooth execution of planned activities, and fostering a positive team environment.Team members enjoy Competitive wages (including language premiums)Creative incentive programsFull training and exciting long-term career opportunitiesFlexible hoursDuties & ResponsibilitiesGuest/ Event Experience:Oversee setup, execution, & closing of eventsWork with Event Management Team in operational planning and execution of eventsDeliver exceptional service to all guests, ensuring a welcoming and memorable experience.Assist in daily operations across retail and hospitality spaces to ensure outstanding guest experiences while balancing fiscal objectives.Leadership & Staff Support:Act as Manager-on-Duty, overseeing staff and estate operations during assigned shifts.Assist in daily operations of hospitality and event spaces to ensure maximum customer serviceSupervise staff to ensure daily goals are achieved and responsibilities are effectively delegated.Create an integrated, motivated, collaborative, and positive work environment.Coach and mentor team members, encouraging internal growth and skill development.Administrative Duties:Assist with billing & accounts receivables for internal & private eventsUnderstanding and operating point-of-sale systemsUtilize organizational documents and support organizational systems to provide consistency in daily business operations. – I.e. floor plans, transfer sheets, etc.QualificationsEducation & Experience:Post-secondary education required.2–3 years of events and hospitality experienceSmart Serve certifiedSkills & Abilities:Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environmentEffective oral and written communication skills.Ambitious and goal-orientedStrong problem solving & organizational skillsStrong math skills and business relationship-building abilities.Sound knowledge of wines is essential.Availability:5 days per week during the summer.Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and evening shifts year-round.Our Philosophy“If you think it can’t be done, just watch us do it.” At Jackson-Triggs, we embrace challenges with determination, value hard work, and prioritize balance.
