The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading our social media strategy across various platforms. You will play a key role in enhancing brand awareness, driving traffic, and generating leads through engaging content and effective campaigns. This is a “hands-on” role where you will be responsible for developing strategies, creative concepts through to execution working closely with our videographer/digital content creator and agency partners.

This role requires a strong understanding of various social media channels, graphic design skills, and the ability to analyze performance metrics to optimize content.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and YouTube.
  • Create engaging content that aligns with brand messaging, complementing our existing strategies and resonating with our target audiences.
  • Collaborate with internal team members and external agency partners to develop and execute promotional content strategies that support our business goals.
  • Design visually appealing content using Adobe Creative Suite / Canva.
  • Actively participate in the planning and storyboarding of video content for various digital platforms.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications to ensure our brands remain relevant and competitive.
  • Monitor and manage online reviews, feedback, and overall presence to maintain a positive brand image.
  • Oversee social media leads and collaborate with Customer Care management team to ensure all are actioned and responded to.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to integrate promotional social media campaigns into organic content.
  • Analyze performance metrics using Google Analytics, native social media platform tools and other tools to measure success and inform future strategies.
  • Proofread all content before publication to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in social media and advertising to leverage new opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a social media manager or similar role in managing social media platforms for multiple brands or businesses.
  • Strong passion for creating visual content on social media and intermediate knowledge of graphic tools (ie. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and graphic design principles.
  • Excellent copywriting skills with a keen eye for detail in proofreading content.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box when developing campaigns.
  • Home services marketing experience a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Must live in Greater Toronto Area or Hamilton Area
  • Driver’s license and access to reliable, insured vehicle are required for this position.
  • You may be required to travel to branch locations within GTHA

Work Environment

  • This role may require availability outside of traditional office hours to meet project deadlines or to collaborate with team members in different time zones.
