Project Coordinator

The main responsibilities of this role include coordinating NESHW projects from beginning to end in consultation with stakeholders (internal and external), defining project scope, establishing goals and deliverables, and ensuring alignment with Covenant strategic directions, objectives, policies, and standards. The incumbent will establish and maintain effective working relationships, determine project resources required, monitor all stages of project implementation, and develop an evaluation and reporting framework to measure project success. The Project Coordinator will lead the creation of proposals, education, reports, publications, briefing notes, abstracts, and presentations in alignment with project deliverables. Finally, this role will coordinate tasks with project team members, provide subject matter expertise as needed, and act as a resource to other projects and work within the NESHW. This position is non-unionized.

Required Qualifications: Baccalaureate degree required.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years’ experience and exposure to seniors’ care, academic and/or health related environment required. Minimum 3 years’ experience with project coordination/management. Highly proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office software required. Highly developed speaking and writing skills required. Excellent organizational and facilitation skills. Ability to work with limited supervision. Professional, highly effective interpersonal & communication skills. Initiative and self-motivation. Discretion and confidentiality. Clear business and academic writing skills. Ability to research resources.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters preferred. Certification as a Project Manager is an asset. Qualitative and/or Quantitative research experience is an asset. Knowledge of provincial seniors’ health and wellness systems. Grant application writing experience. Working in a multidisciplinary environment which includes team members involved in research and quality improvement activities.
