Marketers on Demand is currently searching for a Vice President, Investments to join our client’s team In this role, a strong focus will be on providing support on portfolio company analysis, engagement preparation and follow up, and reviewing and assessing corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Demonstrate expertise in analysis of company performance, corporate governance and material sustainability-related practices
  2. Prepare, participate, and document engagement meetings with portfolio companies
  3. Support data gathering, benchmarking and reporting to support voting decisions and policy positions
  4. Assist in the preparation of position papers to facilitate issue discussion
  5. Collaborate across the team to identify ways to improve policy and business processes
  6. Build strong relationships and collaborate with relevant counterparts

Key Qualifications:

  1. An undergraduate degree in finance, economics, accounting, political science, history, sustainability or similar
  2. Over 4-6 years of experience in a financial services focused role (a demonstrated strong understanding of financial statements and corporate finance)
  3. Ability to synthesize complex information and convey it in a clear and concise manner to senior-level audiences
  4. Ability to prioritize, analyze, and resolve complex issues under time pressure while maintaining consistent attention to detail
  5. A keen interest in corporate governance and material sustainable business practices
  6. Proficiency using Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft products
