Job Title: Director of Projects (Owner) About the Role Hays has teamed up with a reputable and growing developer in Edmonton who are seeking an experienced Director of Projects (Owners Rep) to lead a dynamic team responsible for delivering construction projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. This leadership role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in project management within general contracting or owner’s representative environments , who thrive on building relationships and driving operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Oversee the successful execution of multiple construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Act as the primary liaison between leadership teams and project stakeholders, providing clear communication and regular updates on milestones and deliverables. Develop and implement strategies to enhance client experience and project outcomes. Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering professional growth and accountability. Collaborate with finance teams to manage project budgets and ensure financial objectives are met. Resolve client escalations and proactively manage risks to maintain strong relationships. Continuously assess and improve processes for efficiency and effectiveness. What We’re Looking For 5+ years of experience in project management or operations within construction (general contractor or owner’s rep experience strongly preferred). 2+ years of leadership experience , including team management and mentorship. Strong understanding of construction processes, risk management, and financial oversight. Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with project management software Why Join?
