We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Lead Structural Engineer to join our Client in Sudbury, Ontario. This is a full-time permanent position with a dynamic firm experiencing significant growth and offering comprehensive benefits, performance bonus and more. Working with clients on a day-to-day basis to ensure projects are meeting expectations and requirements. Create & manage engineering project proposal and budgets. Work with their team to ensure all projects are delivered with the highest level of quality, on schedule, and on budget. Perform various types of structural assessments and inspections on existing client infrastructure and prepare reports providing detailed observations and findings. Commercial Hydro Electric Generation Meet with clients (at their sites and online) as required to fulfill project requirements. Create and foster a positive work environment for team members and building office morale. Travel to client sites & perform site visits to scope projects and collect necessary data and information to complete projects. Implement the health and safety program & help ensure that all rules and regulations are being followed. This may include the need to travel to various client sites within the province, nationally, and internationally. Proven project management skills, ensuring budgets and timelines are being met. ~ Professional Engineer licensed in the province of Ontario. ~able to network and build strong rapports with clients and team members. ~ Proactive in identifying projects that exceed budgets and timelines. ~ Excellent oral & written English skills. ~ The candidate must have a good working knowledge of reading both structural and/or mechanical drawings as well as the amount of effort required to create them.
