Sales manager

We are currently looking for a skilled, dedicated person to fill the position of Sales Manager for our Sydney, NS location.
The Sales Manager works with the Branch Manager to manage sales functions, including providing guidance on sales processes, coaching, and developing sales professionals.
This role is responsible for branch inventory audits, and works with the Sales, Parts, and Service Departments to create a cohesive environment, making recommendations of opportunities for the sale of parts and service products.
Responsibilities: Work with the sales teams to help in the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area Stay current on product knowledge, features, and benefits of all equipment Proactively monitor competitive activity/products and communicates to management Assists with the preparation and execution of all customer events and field demonstrations Maintain knowledge of financing options and assist the sales team with securing the purchase of new and used goods Attend applicable sales training events as required Work with our used equipment process to ensure accurate used valuations and drive used equipment sales Work with sales reps to achieve annual sales goals and grow market share Submit sales in a timely fashion, following all sales processes Help new salespeople understand our sales process and help them increase their sales volume Give input in the management of existing sales staff and offer assistance in recruitment and selection of new sales staff Qualifications: Experience with equipment sales Knowledge of turf equipment operations and uses an asset Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions Ability to work flexible hours Excellent customer relationship skills Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Excellent verbal and written communication skills We Offer: Full-time employment Opportunity for advancement within a progressive organization Competitive compensation package which includes salary Family health benefits Company pension plan Boot and tool allowance Access to a personal finance training program Please submit your resume today Please note: If we like your resume, you will receive an email asking you to take a quick 5 minute questionnaire from Predictive Index.
