Here is a once in a lifetime opportunity to work on the biggest event in the world Vancouver Sign Group Has been tasked with producing and installing all dressing and wayfinding signage for a Major Sporting Event for the City of Vancouver **Please note this is not an entry level position. Experience project managing major events, inclusive of signage, is required.** Vancouver Sign Group is a leader in the sign and printing industry. Digital printing, custom fabrication, and a dedicated in house installation team - all of which work closely together to ensure everyone is set up for success for the same outcome; a beautiful product that the customer and we are proud of The start of the success train begins with one very important person that we are in search for, Project Manager As a Project Manager, and a member of our team you should: · This doesn't directly relate only to your quality of work, but as a genuine loyal, honest, happy human · Being able to talk to clients and coworkers about more than just work is an important relationship building trait. · Be computer literate - working in the sign and print industry will require you to use a multitude of softwares such as Adobe PDF, our CRM/workflow software, Excel, etc. The use of Corel Draw or Illustrator is a plus · Have a drivers license, you may be required to do site visits/checks, meet with clients and oversee installs on larger projects. · Details can make or break a project in each and every phase. Not every project is the same, and may require different levels of problem solving from what vinyl should be used all the way to what voltage/amps are required for certain signs. Have a proven experience in event/program project management for print and signage. · Be able to work weekends and evenings - there will be long days and weeks. · Be well versed in conflict management and must be able to adapt to quick changes. As a Project Manager, the team will rely on you to take the project from after the final sale, to installation completion. Attending take-off meetings with the sales rep, production manager, and installation manager. · Leading the project through the initial design phase through the production and installation process, ensuring all deliverables are met on time, on budget, and top quality. · Coordinating with other trades, subcontractors, GCs, electricians, etc. · Create detailed work orders with our workflow software · Attending site checks and group meetings Competitive Salary Based on Experience · Car Allowance
