Oakville Estates Retirement Residence, our newest and most Luxurious Residence located in beautiful Oakville, Ontario, is seeking a dynamic and passionate Maintenance Manager to join our growing team.As the Maintenance Manager you would be responsible for the building’s preventative maintenance program, day to day maintenance issues, resident maintenance and general maintenance of the pool. In addition, you would assist in getting quotes for vendor maintenance contracts including grounds.The successful applicant will have:Proven experience in the maintenance of equipment and building systems, including a basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and safety systems.Ability to self-regulate and work independently.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsFlexibility in working hoursResponsibilities will include, but not limited to:Preventative maintenanceConduct monthly fire drills with both residents and staffInspection and maintenance of the Residence to maintain a safe and attractive environmentResponding to emergency situationsDay to day maintenance, including resident needsIf interested, please submit your resume for review.We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those selected to proceed in the selection process will be contacted.We are committed to providing accommodation in its recruitment processes to applicants with disabilities, upon request.
