Deliver On-Time Results.Position: Materials ManagerLocation: Collingwood, ONCompensation: $110–120K base + 20% bonus | Benefits | Pension | VacationThe OpportunityOur client, a respected automotive manufacturer in picturesque Collingwood, Ontario, is looking for a skilled Materials Manager to lead inventory control, production planning, and materials coordination.This is a pivotal role — you’ll ensure that the right materials are in the right place at the right time to keep production running smoothly and customer deliveries on schedule. You’ll also play a key part in improving efficiency, managing costs, and supporting long-term growth.What You’ll DoLead materials planning, inventory control, and production scheduling to achieve 100% on-time deliveryUse capacity planning and S&OP tools to align operations with customer demandManage packaging, freight, and storage costs within budget targetsMaintain accurate part, cost, and material data in SAP and related systems (PASS, COGNOS, NIAPS, FPACS)Partner with customers to address supply issues and delivery commitmentsEnsure compliance with ISO 14000 and TS16949 standardsParticipate in RFQs and long-term production planning to support business growthInvestigate and resolve nonconforming product issuesSupport your team through clear communication, coaching, and workforce planningWhat You BringA university degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related discipline7–10 years of materials management experience in an automotive manufacturing environmentExperience working in a unionized facility is an assetStrong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAdvanced Excel and ERP system experience (SAP preferred)A proactive communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environmentWhy Join This Team?Competitive pay, 20% annual bonus, comprehensive benefits, and pension planA company that values continuous improvement, accountability, and teamworkThe chance to make a measurable impact on performance and customer satisfactionWork in one of Ontario’s most scenic regions — Collingwood — where career and lifestyle meet
