Job Title: French Canadian Linguist (Long-Term, Part-Time)Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled French Canadian linguist to support our Text-to-Speech (TTS) system on a long-term, part-time basis. The primary objective is to transcribe words unknown to our TTS system and perform linguistic tasks on a weekly basis.Responsibilities:Transcribe French words unfamiliar to the TTS system.Perform grammatical review and corrections.Translate between French and English when required.Conduct phonetic transcription and annotations.Ensure high linguistic quality and consistency across all deliverables.Requirements:Fluency in French Canadian.Strong command of English.Proven experience in linguistics, transcription, or related language work.Familiarity with phonetics and annotation standards.Excellent attention to detail and consistency.Workload & Compensation:Estimated 10–20 hours per month.Rate: $25 USD/hour.Training will be provided.Contract Type:Freelance/contractor position.Long-term collaboration.If you have native-level French (Canada), strong English, and a passion for linguistics, we’d love to hear from you
