We are a dynamic and innovative events and catering company that requires a highly skilled Market Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive business growth and expansion.

Job Description

The Market Development Manager will be the key driver of our marketing efforts, tasked with identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with key stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven individual who can think creatively and strategically.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Promotional Materials: Create compelling marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and social media content, to promote our services and products.
  • Hire, Train, Direct, and Motivate Staff: Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Market Business Services: Identify new business opportunities, build relationships with key stakeholders, and develop strategic plans to drive revenue growth.
  • Plan and Control Budget and Expenditures: Develop and manage budgets, ensuring that we operate within our financial means while achieving our goals.
  • Write and Edit Press Releases, Newsletter, and Communications Materials: Craft engaging press releases, newsletters, and other communications materials to share news, updates, and stories about our company.
  • Direct and Evaluate Establishments and Departments: Oversee the development and implementation of communication strategies and information programs across various departments.
  • Plan, Direct, and Evaluate Advertising Campaigns: Develop and execute advertising campaigns to promote our sales of products and services.
  • Act as Spokesperson for the Organization: Represent our company in public forums, meetings, and events, serving as the primary point of contact for media inquiries, community outreach, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Gather, Research, and Prepare Communications Material: Collect, analyze, and disseminate information to support informed decision-making and effective communication.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, marketing, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving business growth and expansion.

Compensation Package:

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
