Fleet and Facilities Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet and Facilities Manager to join our team at TSI Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of our fleet and facilities, ensuring that all assets are maintained and operated in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Preventative Maintenance and Repairs: Ensure that all preventative maintenance, repairs, and upkeep activities are completed in compliance with provincial, health & safety, and regulatory codes.
- Building Maintenance and Repairs: Source, schedule, coordinate, and oversee building repair and maintenance services, including waste and recycling, landscaping, snow removal, cleaning, and custodial services.
- Contract Management: Work directly with contractors to administer property contracts, oversee contracts for custodial and general site maintenance issues, and lead the selection and negotiation of property maintenance vendors and suppliers.
- Tenant Property Issues: Manage all tenant property issues and concerns, support the branch network in corrective actions and resolution, and ensure that all tenant property issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
- Building Security: Manage building security, ensuring that proper safeguards are in place and maintained by managers, and lead facility inspection and risk assessments, recommending corrective action plans as required.
- Fleet Management: Establish fleet inventory, maintenance requirements, and replacement programs for all company-owned equipment, ensure that all vehicles, facilities, equipment, and processes are compliant with all regulations and permitting requirements, and participate in the assessment of the current and future needs for fleet and facilities while managing costs and delivering operating efficiencies.
- 10+ years of experience, minimum 5 years in a leadership or management capacity.
- Fleet and facility management experience, including experience overseeing multiple locations across different provinces.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in facilities management, engineering, business, or equivalent, preferably with PMP or Property Management Certification (CPM, MPM, CCIM, or equivalent).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing, and urgent priorities.
- Strong relationship builder with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent technical skills, including MS Office and project management software.
- Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle to travel between locations.
- Ability to travel frequently (at times exceeding 50%) and be available outside of regular business hours for emergencies.
- Organizational and prioritizing skills.
- Good interpersonal communications.
