Job Title: Construction Laborer - Drywall Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to join our team at MJ Drywall Ltd. as a Construction Laborer - Drywall Specialist.

About the Job

This is an entry-level position that requires loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants, and removing rubble and debris from construction sites.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations, and following company procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading construction materials
  • Cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Removing rubble and debris from construction sites
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work site
  • Assisting with tasks such as patching holes in drywall and painting walls
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads (up to 23 kg / 50 lbs)
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in dusty environments
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and hours
Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working outdoors, in fast-paced environments, and meeting tight deadlines.

Salary and Benefits

Our estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on location and experience. Benefits include a permanent position with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the construction industry, flexibility to work various shifts, and a competitive salary.
