Sales Representative

Job Summary:
The Sales Representative will be responsible for growing and developing sales and margins of MSI's Tile product lines with the retailer/dealer network within an assigned geographic territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with current and potential customers within the territory
- Provide knowledge and training on company products to store personnel
- Understand products, market competition, and position products to overcome these factors
- Manage displays, samples, and selling tools for customer availability
- Consult with dealers on retail pricing, advertising, promotions, and ROI
- Quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales contracts for customer orders
- Estimate delivery dates based on company schedules
- Review and analyze sales reports to identify sales potential
- Utilize marketing tools to broaden reach and promote company products
- Research and analyze customer needs and demands
- Investigate and resolve customer claims/problems
- Attend trade shows as required
- Travel 40-80% locally, nationally, and/or internationally
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Two plus years' experience in channel distribution sales
- Minimum of 2 years of related industry experience
- Strong math skills and ability to determine solutions for customers
- Results-oriented and able to work independently and within a team
- Intermediate computer proficiency
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Good communication and people skills
- Confidence and motivation to work toward targets
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well alone or within a team
- Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving
- Resilience to deal with customers who turn you down
- Bilingual in French
