Executive Chef Assistant

Ricky’s Grill seeks a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our cooking team and ensuring the highest quality dishes are served to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Supervise and train our cooking team to maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
- Culinary Expertise: Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to our cooking staff, and instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.
- Menu Planning: Plan menus and ensure that food meets our quality standards.
- Supply Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
Requirements:
- Certifications: Cook Trade Certification and Food Safety Certificate.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years in a similar role.
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
Work Environment:
Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and ability to work under pressure are essential.

- Leadership: Proven leadership skills and ability to train and motivate staff.
- Communication: Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment.
